1. Introduction
Scoreboard - Live & Share (hereinafter referred to as "the App") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data when you use our real-time sports scoring and sharing service.
2. Information We Collect and How We Use It
The App is designed to function without requiring personal identification.
- Authentication Data: We use Firebase Anonymous Authentication. This generates a unique, random User ID (UID) to maintain your session. We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or any other identifying information.
- Match Data: Room IDs, team names, and live scores are stored in the Firebase Realtime Database solely for the purpose of synchronizing data between users in the same room.
- Local Data: Your detailed match history is stored only on your device (via AsyncStorage). We do not upload this history to our servers.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to provide the App’s features:
- Google Firebase: For anonymous authentication and real-time database synchronization.
- Expo SDK: The framework used to develop the App.
- Google AdMob (Future Use): While the current version does not include ads, future updates may include AdMob, which may collect advertising identifiers (ADID/IDFA) to provide personalized advertisements.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
- Real-time Data: Data stored in the Firebase Realtime Database is temporary and used for live sessions.
- History Data: Since history is stored locally on your device, you can delete it at any time within the App. Please note that if you delete the App or clear its cache, this data cannot be recovered.
5. Permissions
The App does not require sensitive permissions such as camera, contacts, or location tracking. We only request permission to save images when you use the "Share Match Result as Image" feature.
6. Children’s Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Since we use anonymous login, no personal profile is created.
