re:post (hereinafter referred to as "the App") is a space for recording your precious daily life and thoughts. We prioritize your privacy above all else. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle data when you use our service.
2. Information We Collect and How We Use It
The App is designed to function without requiring or collecting any personal identification.
- Personal Information: The App does not collect your name, email, phone number, contacts, or any other identifying information. You can use all features without any registration or login process.
- Entry Data (Diaries & Memos): All diary entries, memos, and tags you create are stored only on your device (Local Storage). The developer does not transmit, collect, or have access to this data.
- Technical Data: Non-identifiable technical data (e.g., device model, OS version) may be processed anonymously to improve app performance and fix bugs.
3. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to provide the App’s features:
- Expo SDK: The framework used to develop and run the App.
- Google AdMob (Future Use): While the current version does not include ads, future updates may include AdMob to support service maintenance. In such cases, advertising identifiers (ADID/IDFA) may be collected to provide personalized advertisements.
4. Data Retention and Deletion
- Local Storage: Since all data exists only on your device, you can delete it at any time through the [Settings > Clear All Data] feature within the App.
- Backup & Recovery: The developer does not hold any of your data. Therefore, data cannot be recovered if the App is deleted or the device is reset. Please use the 'Export (.md)' feature to back up your important records.
5. Permissions
The App requests only the minimum permissions necessary for its features:
- Biometric Authentication (Optional): Required for app locking features using Face ID or Touch ID. Biometric data is processed only within the secure area of your device and is never shared outside the App.
- Notifications (Optional): Used to provide recording reminders at times set by the user. Notification settings function only within the device, and no information is transmitted externally.
6. Children’s Privacy
